With 15 years of experience in the oil palm industry as an Agronomist, he possesses extensive hands-on expertise in various agronomic trials. He has conducted numerous agronomic visits, plantation advisory visits, estate assessments, feasibility studies, and oil palm estate technical due diligence projects across Malaysia and Indonesia.

He graduated with a first-class B.Sc. in Bio-Industry from Universiti Putra Malaysia, fully sponsored by the Yayasan Sime Darby Scholarship. His career began at Sime Darby Research Sdn Bhd, where he spent over six years in the Oil Palm Research Unit, conducting oil palm trials and agronomic studies. His areas of expertise include nutritional trials, biomass studies, oil palm dissection, weather-yield correlations, soil correlations, nursery culling, and fertilizer recommendations.

He later joined Genting Plantations Berhad, reporting directly to the Plantation Head of Malaysia, where he played a key role in operational training and estate performance analysis. He was responsible for providing and coordinating training programs such as contour lining, fertilizer and weeding efficiency, and Structured Supervisory Training Programmes (SSTP). Additionally, he analyzed the performance and cost efficiency of Genting Plantations’ Malaysian estates, preparing monthly and quarterly reports for the Board of Directors.

His diverse experience across research and estate management has shaped him into a well-rounded professional with strong technical and managerial expertise in oil palm agronomy and plantation operations.
